Formerly known as the Summer School this course will include:
· Support for various aspects of BGE, N4, N5, Higher and Advanced Higher Physics Courses.
· Input from staff and students from the University of St Andrews.
· There will be a range of practical workshops, talks, seminar sessions and equipment giveaways.
· Follows on from the IOP Stirling Physics Teachers’ Meeting on Thursday 23 May 2024. (NOT included in the course fee).
The Raising attainment in physics course is residential with accommodation and evening activities at a local hotel in Dunfermline.

Participants will be able to:
• develop strategies for making the teaching of N5 and post-16 physics more engaging, inspiring and up to date.
• explore new creative approaches to practical work in N5 and post-16 physics, including N5 assignments
• describe and model developments in some key areas of contemporary physics relevant to N5 and post-16 learners
