This new course in 2024 will focus on practical work to support practical work for Advanced Higher projects.
Clearly there is an almost infinite number of experiments that could be done but the course will focus on examples of some common themes: synthesis, analysis, rates of reaction, etc
Laboratory sessions will cover
- common techniques and skills
- finding secondary methods
- Finding secondary data sources
Practical work will be supported by further presentations to further support health & safety and input from the SQA.
Combined with opportunities for professional networking, this course offers participants a rich and vibrant programme that will enhance teaching and learning within their institutions.
A draft programme will be available shortly.
Applying for this course using the online booking form is no longer possible as the closing date has passed. But if you are interested, please email us at enquiries@sserc.scot if you would still like to register your interest. There may still be places left.
