SSERC Biology offers online professional learning opportunities throughout the year.
All our SSERC Meets are online, running from 16.15 to 17.15 via Microsoft Teams. You should apply for these courses via our Professional Learning Calendar and the link to the Teams webinar will be provided. We have four SSERC Meets scheduled for the 2023-24 academic session, as outlined below:
- 7 Sept 2023 – Assignments: A webinar to discuss and share assignment topics for N5 and Higher Biology.
- 5 Oct 2023 – Projects: A webinar to discuss and share Advanced Higher Biology project ideas.
- 14 Dec 2023 – Working in the Life Sciences Sector: A webinar with the STEM Ambassadors in Scotland team with a panel of experts working in the Life Sciences sector.
- 20 March 2024 – Resource update: A webinar to discuss and share some of the latest resources from SSERC biology.
